About Us...

Pam and I were born with wine "DNA" in our veins.
Actually, we were raised in the Sonoma County region of Northern California. We spent twenty-seven years living in that wine country. We sold our first bottle of vino in 1979. Privileged enough, we have owned a liquor license since the mid-eighties.

Some additional, fortunate events have come our way... For example: At the time, all of the Sonoma Vintners shopped at our store. Subsequently, we were invited to go to many private wine tastings in the North County.  Sebastiani even tested all of their labels on our shelves… What fun!

I (Joe) currently hold a wine ‘Court of Master Sommeliers’ certificate. Which means that I’ve spent time in specialized schools on wine specifics. Only a small group of wine aficionados holds such a certificate in the U.S.

If you don’t see either of us at the store, which might be tough since we are around most of the time, you’ll find us experiencing the road, that is, learning the history and updates on Spirits of “all” types.

We’ve been in Durango since 1994, and we want to know a little more about you. You are encouraged and invited to stop by the store to talk with us about your own personal experiences.
